Andrew Bynum

Andrew Bynum was 17 years, eight months and two days old, making himself to be the youngest player to ever be drafted by an NBA team. This record will likely last for the foreseeable future since the new collective bargaining agreement between NBA owners and the NBA Players' Association mandates that American players who enter the NBA Draft must be at least one year removed from the graduation of their high school class and reach age 19 no later than December 31 of the calendar year of the draft.
His name is often misspelled as: Andrew Bynam, Andrew Bynom.

CURRENT SEASON BYNUM HIGHLIGHTS

Lakers v Utah: Bynum had 11 points in the quarter, Farmar had seven, and the play-by-play chart looked as if they were playing two-on-none: Bynum fastbreak dunk, Farmar running layup, Farmar three-point play on a driving layup and free throw, Bynum layup, Farmar 11-foot fadeaway, Bynum two free throws, Bynum three-point play on an alley-oop layup and free throw, Bynum reverse layup. Bynum finished with 15 points and nine rebounds before fouling out in the final minute.

Lakers v Suns: Andrew Bynum posted a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds in 24 minutes as the Lakers destroyed the Suns on Friday.

Andrew’s per 40 numbers on the pre-season translate out to an eye popping 22 point & 13 rebounds with 2 blocks on 66% shooting. This isn’t a pace anyone expects him to maintain that production, but with his new sculpted look it’s not hard to imagine him making another jump this season.
